St George's Holiday House

Who can use St George's?
  • Serving and ex-members of the regular armed forces and Reservists with a minimum of two years' continuous service.
  • Their wives/husbands and dependent children. Children over the age of 17 are required to pay full tariff.
  • National Servicemen
  • War/Defence Widows/Widowers.
  • Merchant Seamen who served in a war zone.

Twin Room

$275 per week

                                             IMPORTANT

Single Room

$165 per week

            Applications for accommodation can be made only on the

            official form.   

Children under 18

$50 per week

Twin Bed Flat

$375 per week

            Please also read the notes below. 

 

  • The application form asks for specific details regarding your defence service: Service Number, Unit, and Period of Service.
  • A copy of a discharge certificate or other documentary evidence of service is required to establish your eligibility.
  • Bookings are made for a minimum of one week up to eight weeks at a time.
  • St George's is a VERY popular Holiday House, and there is a waiting list for available accommodation particularly in the Winter months and at Christmas.
